Meredith Kent, Director of High School Placement/Graduate Support
Meredith Kent joined the staff at Nativity School of Worcester in July 2013 as the Director of High School Placement, after volunteering as a tutor at the school for the previous two years. A 1996 graduate of Northwestern University, with a BA in Education & Social Policy, and a 2001 graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education (Ed.M), Meredith's professional career has focused primarily on education, community service, and youth development. She has worked as a high school social studies teacher leading classes in U.S. History, Ancient History, and Sociology and serving as a class advisor. Additionally, she has served as a program manager at local and national nonprofit organizations, and as the director of a collaborative of school districts in Central Massachusetts focused on increasing civic education and engagement opportunities within the member school districts.
Meredith currently serves as an active member of the Family Leadership Circle for Cradles to Crayons, Inc. in Boston, MA, is an interviewer for the Northwestern University Alumni Admissions Council, and is a frequent volunteer at her children's school. She resides in Northborough with her husband, Kevin, and two daughters.
