B.A., College of the Holy Cross
Kate is from Naples, FL. She graduated from the College of the Holy Cross where she majored in Mathematics and was in the Teacher Education Program. Kate served as Lead Intern for Student Programs for Urban Development (SPUD) while at Holy Cross. She tutored at the Boys and Girls Club for all four years of college. During the summer before her junior year of college, she studied in Paris through Holy Cross’s Maymester program. In the Spring of 2019, Kate student taught Geometry Inclusion, Geometry for English Language Learners, and Pre-Calculus Honors at Doherty Memorial High School. She received her initial license in teaching Secondary Mathematics with a SEI Endorsement.
Kate first joined the Nativity Worcester community as a tutor from Holy Cross in the Fall of 2017. In the Summer of 2018, she served as a Summer Intern. This is her first year of the teaching fellowship. She is on the 8th Grade Team and is the Operations Assistant as well as a Cross Country Coach. She is working towards her Master of Arts in Special Education at Assumption College.
