Our April Grads of the Month are Brian and Nathan from the Chardin Class of 2024! We are continuously in awe of the successes these two students have had since leaving Nativity Worcester almost a year ago. Brian is currently finishing his freshman year up at Bancroft, and Nathan will be done with his first year of Worcester Tech soon! Read more about both of them below!

Brian Gonzalez:

Whether you recently graduated or some time has passed, how does it feel to be a Nativity grad?
It’s a bittersweet feeling, I’m glad that I graduated, but I miss Nativity.

Where are you going to school currently? What is the best thing about attending that school?
I’m attending Bancroft School. The best thing is the connections and friends I have made there.

What did Nativity mean to you when you went here? What does it mean to you now?
Nativity was like a big family to me, I think my classmates can agree when I say that we made lifelong friends there.

What is your favorite Nativity memory?
My favorite memory is a specific math class when we were talking and laughing.

What are your goals, dreams, and aspirations?
My goals are to become better at typing and improve my grammar. A dream of mine is to get into law or be a part of the justice system.

What advice would you give to younger Nativity students?
My advice to younger students would be to enjoy every moment you have with your friends and take advantage of the support that you have at Nativity. Also, be grateful for every opportunity you get.

Nathan Jean-Pierre:

Whether you recently graduated or some time has passed, how does it feel to be a Nativity grad?
It feels good but also still different because I’m still getting used to the extra work and longer classes.

Where are you going to school currently? What is the best thing about attending that school?
I am attending Worcester Technical High School. The best thing about WTHS is the trades and how they set you up for after high school and help you create your own future.

What did Nativity mean to you when you went here? What does it mean to you now?
Nativity felt like my second family. The fact that it was more of a smaller community, I felt more comfortable around my peers and made a lot of long-lasting friendships. Even now, Nativity has given me many opportunities to better myself and I’m still very happy that I was able to come to this school.

What is your favorite Nativity memory?
My favorite memory was most likely the New York trip because I was surrounded by fun teachers and was able to have fun with my class before we graduated and went off to high school.

What are your goals, dreams, and aspirations?
I just want to be somebody important and make my parents proud.

What advice would you give to younger Nativity students?
Make the most of it here at Nativity before you have to leave. Get out of your comfort zone more often and just enjoy it while you can.
