Nativity School of Worcester is pleased to announce that at its most recent Board of Trustees meeting in May, Veronica Listerud was unanimously appointed as the next Chair of the Board. Veronica has served as a Trustee since 2007 and most recently held the position of Vice Chair for the past two years.
In addition to her longstanding commitment to Nativity’s mission, Veronica brings decades of experience serving the Worcester community. She is the Director of Adoption and Family Services at Children’s Friend, where she has been a steadfast advocate for children and families. Her deep roots in the region, combined with her thoughtful leadership and vision, make her an ideal leader to guide Nativity into its next chapter.
We are thrilled to have Veronica step into this important role. Her dedication, wisdom, and compassion have shaped our board for many years, and we are excited for her continued leadership as Board Chair.
The Board also elected Matt Brunell as its new Vice Chair. Matt has served as a Trustee, offering valuable insight and energy to the school’s governance.
Nativity extends its sincere gratitude to outgoing Chair Bill Condron for his exceptional leadership and service. Under Bill’s guidance, the school has achieved significant milestones, including the opening of the Julie Power Girls Division. Nativity is pleased to share that Bill will remain an active member of the Board of Trustees.
With this transition in leadership, Nativity School of Worcester remains firmly committed to its mission of providing a transformative, tuition-free education to young men and women from under-resourced communities in Worcester.
