Christian Morales, a graduate from the Ricci class, is our Grad of the Month for September! This past school year, he graduated from Saint John’s High School and is headed into his first year of college this fall. Morales is proud to be a graduate of Nativity Worcester, and has some experience and advice to share with younger students and grads. Read a little about what Christian is up to below!

How does it feel to be a NSW Grad?

I feel so good and blessed to be a Nativity Grad, knowing that there’s a whole community behind me wherever life may take me.

Where are you going to school now?

I graduated from Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury, MA, and I will be attending Quinsigamond Community College in the Fall earning a degree in Business.

What does NSW mean to you?

Nativity means so much to me; it changed my life in so many ways, and continues to do so – not only for me but also for my family. From my older cousin, to my little brother, to now my little cousin who is a part of Nativity School of Worcester as one of the first girl classes to be in the community.

What is your favorite NSW memory?

My favorite memory is definitely going to Washington D.C. with my classmates. So many good memories and funny moments! The food was amazing and it was just a good time I could never forget.

What are your goals and dreams?

My biggest goal is to make it where I want to be in life. I’m still trying to figure it out but as long as I reach all the goals I set for myself I know that I’ll be a step closer. One of my dreams is to have a big family and to be a present father. I don’t quite know yet what I want to do once I graduate, I have to make it through college first.

Advice you want to give the younger Nativity students:

Advice for the younger generation… Just keep going! No matter how hard life gets, there’s always going to be better days. In every aspect, with school, the sport you play, or even at home. Some days will be harder than others! But the good days will come. You only fail when you give up, and as long as you don’t give up you’ll be just fine. One thing that always keeps me going is this quote, “If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving.” – Martin Luther King Jr.
