Mr. Clayton – Hard Work Pays Off
What are you up to these days?
My days are spent doing a lot. During the week I work at Nativity at the front desk Tuesdays and Thursdays. My Mondays and Wednesdays are spent taking a night class at Worcester Tech to become an Electrician. The weekends are still busy for me as I work at a nursing home that goes by the name Coleman House.
What is something from Nativity that sticks with you even today?
There is a lot that has stuck with me throughout my years at Nativity, but the thing that has stuck with me the most is you can always do what you said you can’t.
What is your favorite Nativity memory?
There’s a lot of fond memories that happened at Nativity from recess to intramurals. There’s one that tops them all which is when we went to Wachusett mountain. While on this wondrous trip to the mountain the whole school proceeded to inflict tons of pain to ourselves [by attempting to board on expert slopes!]. That Monday when we came back almost half the school had a cast, bandages, or both.
What are you excited for now or in the future?
The future holds a lot for everyone. Personally I’m most excited to become an electrician and hopefully a business owner as well.
What advice would you give current students?
The advice I give to all students: Nativity man or not, effort is only half the equation the other half is you.
