Javian Allen, a graduate from the Grande Class of 2022, is our March Grad of the Month! Javian is currently attending Saint John’s High School as a junior. We celebrate him this month, highlighting all the talents and joy he brings to our community! Find out more about Javian, his journey, and his advice to current students below.

Whether you recently graduated or some time has passed, how does it feel to be a Nativity graduate?
The support I receive from Nativity almost daily is overwhelming, even after graduating I still feel closely connected to Nativity.
 
Where are you going to school? What is the best thing about attending that school so far?
I go to Saint John’s High School, and the best thing about the school is the support from the teachers.
 
What did Nativity mean to you when you went here? What does it mean to you now?
When I went to Nativity, for most of the time I just saw it as school, now that I’ve graduated I can appreciate the good they have done for me and I see it as my second home.
 
What is your favorite Nativity memory?
My favorite Nativity memory was my graduation trip to New York, it was an amazing way to wrap up my journey at Nativity.
 
What are your goals, dreams and aspirations? Any accomplishments that you’d like to share?
My dream is to make a positive change in this world, I aspire to make this world better than it was before I was born into it and I work towards this everyday.
What advice would you give to younger Nativity students?
To all the younger students, have fun, no matter how long the days feel remember to have fun and appreciate Nativity while you go there.
What have you noticed about the impact of Nativity on your sister, now that she attends?
Ever since this school year started, I felt my sister has become more mature in handling new situations as well as exploring things out of her comfort zone. The structure that Nativity has provided has really helped her build a routine that makes getting through the day much easier.

Who is an influential woman in your life?
An influential woman in my life is my mom. My mom works at Nativity and has made many great connections there both inside and outside of the workplace. My mom works hard to ensure the best for me and my sister, and she allows us to become our best selves.
