Demetrius Safford

Demetrius Safford holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Education from Assumption University. Now in his fifth year at Nativity Worcester, Demetrius brings a unique blend of personal experience and professional insight to his work. He began his Nativity journey as a Teaching Fellow from 2022 to 2024, gaining valuable firsthand classroom experience before transitioning into his current roles. As After School Director and Family Engagement Coordinator, Demetrius oversees Nativity’s after-school programming, builds meaningful relationships with families, and supports the school community in living out its mission each day. A proud graduate of Nativity’s 2011 Pro Class, Demetrius brings both a personal connection and a deep professional commitment to the school and its mission. His experience as a former student, Teaching Fellow, and current staff member gives him a unique perspective on the Nativity experience and the opportunity to help shape it for the next generation of students.
