Nerelly Checo joined the Nativity School of Worcester community through the teaching fellowship in 2018 after graduating from the College of the Holy Cross. She went on to earn a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria in 2020. Upon graduating the fellowship, Nerelly became the 7th grade lead teacher and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism Coordinator before continuing her education journey as a 4th grade teacher in Brooklyn, New York. Ms. Checo now serves as Nativity’s Assistant Principal and Director of DEIA.
